Teenage Anti-Pregnancy Campaign

Teenage pregnancy is one of the major factors exposing women to becoming victims of abuse later in life. Youth for Survival carries out Anti-Teenage Pregnancy Awareness Campaigns in schools across Tshwane Municipality.
During the campaigns teenagers are taught about the health implications and social consequences of falling pregnant when they are still young. The participants voluntarily pledge to not fall pregnant until they are mature enough and financially independent.
Over 1800 youths are reached monthly. Youth for Survival facilitators of the project guide the teens up to the time they go on to tertiary level, A total of well over 4000 children and young woman are reached throughout The City of Tshwane's schools.
Youth for Survival are hosting seminars, career guidance and assisting them with bursary/scholarship applications. The campaign is one of our pillar projects which curbs future spreading of women and child abuse.
