This is a brand new initiative for which we would require sponsorship.
We are busy with the ground work in preparation for the foundation.
In the interim the below orders and requests can be submitted through our Contact Us page
A bursary is the person on the receiving end of a contribution. Each of the people assisted by Youth for Survival are therefor been allocated the term "Bursary".
We all need some sort of "Renew"vation in our lives from time to time. Removal of clutter, clear minds, an objective approach on life and it's pros and cons, then we can refocus on what really matters.
We all get so used to the day to day life where we get bound by routine, we rush off to work, grab a quick take away meal, paying someone to clean up the house, giving the children money to spend, buying this and that and never even use it, throwing away food as we never made a meal to eat this week at home…..
Are we achieving what we wanted to achieve in the first place? With this one life we have to live?
"Attitudes, Approach on life, Relationships, Love, Respect, Self Confidence, Food, Clothing, Schooling, A birthday present, a kettle, emotional support, guidance on when life is unfair with bullies, Skills development to find a way to live – mainly to survive." This is what most beneficiaries aim for - just that no more no less
Make a difference, Make each minute counts, if you don’t want or need it or if you have R50 to spare each month, why don’t you sign up with a monthly donation commitment?
It is your choice!
The community needs you!
Many of us, meaning society doesn’t really know what it is not to have choices and what it takes from someone in an unfortunate situation
A child is a present from our creator. A child never ask to be born so much more does a child not deserve to feel like a burden, to be in the way and that they are demanding to much money, time, care sometimes schooling is to much to ask for.
Some children are not afforded the opportunity to ever wear new clothes or shoes or get some sweets from time to time. They are not in the special position to receive any stimulation from an early age, some don't ever get to know what love is as no one wanted them in the first place.
Some kids end up in foster care but the moment they turn 18 they are out on their own. No one there to support them. This is why we have established the "AMAZING GRACE HOME" for girls above 18 who are no longer qualifying for a foster care grant. They also need to live somewhere and start their adult life with or without an education.
A child needs to be a child and cant really be a parent while they are still a child.
In society some girls are not afforded the opportunity to make well informed decisions from an early age as they are not receiving the love and care from a parent one would expect.
This cycle tends to repeat it self often which is devastating to say the least. What's worse is that some times a pregnancy was caused by a perpetrator.
We are educating school going girls on the dangers and challenges bringing a child into the world might have on their lives, especially if it is not yet the right time in their life.
Assist us with reaching more girls throughout the country by supporting us with any contributions.
The Girls in our society need your help!
The Silent killer of today's day and age.
Drugs is available at every second street corner. It only takes one time to form a habit, to escape from life, feel happy for a while and then.....devastation.
There are so many life's ruined because of drug use and abuse and once you are caught up in the cycle you use excuses not to stop, you blame it on a person or a situation or your circumstance. Once you are caught up in the flow of using drugs as a coping tool or to get self confidence or to fit in with your friends it takes effort, dedication and loads of self discipline to get rid of the habit.
Why start in the first place?
We try to reach out to as many children from as young as 9 years old to warn them on the use, abuse and repercussions of drugs.
Support our worthy cause to reach the leaders of tomorrow before it is too late
If you can't reach out to anyone a bully can ruin your life!
Anti-bully campaigns is focusing on both the youth in schools as well as woman and children in abusive relationships and homes.
Bullying usually commence when the foundation of the perpetrator was not grounded meaning the basic hierarchy of needs were not met. It might be that he or she was an unplanned baby or that they are too many siblings for the parents to take care of maybe some relationship challenges in the household resulted in the unacceptable action of ill treating others.
Economically challenging situations or a lack of emotional intelligence even social manipulation could cause this. The actions of the perpetrators usually have the same consequences on the victim which either end up a bully themselves or get use to the live of constant abuse.
Prevention is better than cure! It's never too early to educate society to not tolerate bullying in any form
I am sure we all would have preferred an everlasting youth and a life without obstacles,.
That is unfortunately wishful thinking however we know from experience that with the correct approach and support the scars can heal with time, sometimes slower than others, sometimes it might leave other traces or changes in our relationships.
At least we can learn from the past and apply what we've learned to our advantage for the future.
The Empowerment Centers which are based at a variety of Police Stations assist victims of abuse with assistance and advise to get away from their perpetrator. The Police is in affiliation and liaison with our Advice Centers and also assist with Legal awareness campaigns
We at Youth for survival is dependant on Support from all walks of life to effectively contribute to society through all our services on offer.

In today's day, especially with Covid 19 still in the air, the people enduring Economically Challenging situations has increased as much as three fold, if not more.
Support our worthy courses and make a big difference in society.

Why not contributing positively to the community with your time, energy, unused household items, old clothes or a monetary contribution - monthly or once off?
